Ken Harrell grew up in La Marque, Texas which is located near Galveston, Texas. He graduated from Southwest Texas State University, now known as Texas State University, in San Marcos, Texas in 1975. He received a Bachelor of Science in Education and he graduated with honors. In 1978, he graduated from Bates Law School at the University of Houston and he has been licensed in the State of Texas since 1978. He started his career as a insurance defense lawyer and began representing Plaintiffs in approximately 1985. He is licensed to practice law before the United States Supreme Court, the Fifth Court of Appeals and the Western District of Texas. Mr. Harrell joined our firm in October of 2005 and he has tried to a jury all types of personal injury cases. He is the father of the greatest joy in his life, Brittany Layne, who is 13 years of age going on 20.
